Question for all Chevy Aveo Owners?

I am considering buying a 2006 Chevrolet Aveo with 40000 kms on it. Just wondering what people thought of their Aveos and whether it's a good car to own. Any information would be great.

I would stay away from the Aveo. I have a 2004 and it's been nothing but headaches since about 60k miles.

Go for a Honda Fit if you want a similar size/look. That's my next car, I think.

Hopefully it does not have power windows, antilock brakes etc. The more complicated it is the more problems it will have. My 2006 blew a new radiator with only 25K of use on it at 85K miles. After a radiator, brakes with new rotors, another timing belt and transmission service etc. the bill was $2026.00. I recommend running away as quickly as possible from any Aveo, bargain or not. I have a 2011 Aveo 5 LT, it has been a great little car. I put ski racks on the roof in order to carry my surf poles. The Aveo gets me to some remote fishing spot. I would like to see it get a little better gas milage and maybe an 1" -2" higher. A

All in all, I love the Aveo

I like it. I have a 2008. And I've replaced a number of parts, but it still runs well.
