It's a 1998 Chevy Silverado 1500 with a 5.7L engine.When you step on the gas peddle it dies. initially the check engine light said it was the throttle positioning sensor.I changed the throttle positioning sensor,checked the E.G.R valve, checked the fuel pressure which was 50 psi, and put a new fuel filter on it. It still cranks and idles too fast and when you step on the gas peddle it still dies.
