Howdy,, every one. I am gonna HAVE to replace the power brake Booster on my 2006 HHR as brake pedal is on the floor and I hear a vaccum leak from that area. From first look,,,it looks like one heck of a JOB. I don't find a You Tube video to get a head start on it,,,,
Can anyone offer some help on how to prodeed??? Thanks for any suggestions.

when you say the brake pedal is on the floor, do you mean when you step on the pedal or it's on the floor without having to step on it.
typically a failed booster causes a very high hard pedal.

Thye brake pedal goes almost to floor and barely stops the car!! I can hear a faint vaccum leak so figure the diaghram is leaking externally. Does anyone have access to a GM shop manual to read procedure on removing the booster?? Looks like one heck of a difficult job,,,,!!!

Have you looked at the fluid level in the master cylinder?
With the engine off, after you pump the pedal a few times does the pedal still go to the floor?

When brake booster broken you can't push the pedal to the floor. I think the problem is in braking fluid leaks
