On my 1998 k2500 i was quoted about 4 hours to replace the pitman arm. Does this seem reasonable ??? Thank you

I'm thinking half that much but I've never done a 4wd before. Get another estimate.

Is there anything in the way underneath preventing easy access? On most cars it's easy to get to, 2 bolts hold it to the frame, loosen the nut holding it to the center link, use a pickle fork to break the arm loose from the center link, remove the nut, install the new one. Less than a can of beer time, but again, is there something else that has to be removed to get to it?
