Hello, I have question about installing the original headliner bows/rods in a 1973 2 door Nova. My Nova came to me missing the headliner and bows. All I have is one clip by the center dome light and the plastic trim pieces for the sides. I have seen some youtube videos of others installing the rods into holes on the sides. My question is though that my nova looks like it takes the metal rods five of them but on the sides I do not have any holes to put them in. Are they just bent a certain way and held in on the sides with pressure and the center clips or is there something else I'm missing or do you have to drill holes in the sides for the rods? I don't really want to drill holes. was wondering how it was originally? Any one know what I'm talking about? Someone educate me please...thks Pete's Garage

Did you buy a kit and it didnt come with instructions? The link below is from the SS396 site for installing the headliner

Hey, thanks I'll order this kit when I get enough funds. Looks easier to install than original one. thks pete's garage
