Just thought you guys needed to know.
MAJOR ISSUE: Had four new tires installed by PEP BOYS. Got to my car they said it was done. Something told me to check all four tires. Turns out the right front wheel was a different size than the rest!!! This could have resulted in an accident or transmission issues. When I told the guy he says "oh I hate when that happens" Really? Turns out they diddn't have my size in stock. They had to send a driver to another store to get one. So they tried to pull a fast one on me but I was smarter. Wound up taking 2.5 hours!
How many unsuspecting people are driving around with wrong size tires?
Also. The price they quoted me on the phone was different than when I went into the store. They try to add a wheel alignment even if you dont ask for it.
Becareful and stand by the bay door and watch them. Make sure they use a torque wrench on ALL your lugs!!!
