Hello all-
I would like some feedback on possibly buying an older Corvette. I have been a Vette fan all my life, and I've always wanted one. I am a 26 year old single male with a spotless driving record. I live in New England, so it would be an April-Nov car. I've always liked the 80'-82' classic coke-bottles the most, but I know they were horribly unreliable, even in their day. I've never driven a Vette, and I know it's different from most other cars, I currently dirve a 96' Celica that I'd plan to keep, as the car is bulletproof and AWESOME in the snow. I'm mainly looking at the 85'-95' years, probably closer to 85'. I'd rather pay more for a lower mileage, older vehicle. How do they stack up reliability wise? Does one year rate better than others? I'd like to pay 11,000 or under, and it MUST be a manual. Any and all feedback would be greatly appreciated!!
