messing up.? Ok, I have been trying to figure out why my 2000 Chevy Silverado's dash is messing up. I have checked all the wires, took it to the dealership to see if they can find anything, they ran a test and they couldn't get into the computer. I hit a light bump on the road one day and they just down, everyone of them. They will occasionally flutter. I had the transmission rebuilt, i tried a new dash and that didn't solve the problem, i tried a new body control module and that didn't help. Everything that i have done to the truck i went over again to make sure that it wasn't the problem. Anyone have any ideas on what it is? Basically what it's doing is somewhere it's feeding back and screwing up the dash. It's not the computer, dash or body control module. please help!

It sounds like a bad ground wire somewhere. First check the ground on the alternator & then the battery. Clean both of these real good on both of them. If that doesnt do the trick then try and trouble all ground wires associated with the dash. You may have to get a wiring diagram for your year & model. Hope this helps.
