Just purchased a Fram XG10575 oil filter called the fram rep. and he stated this was the right one for a 2011 equinox 3.0 engine.The problem i have is the AC Delco that was on the car is about 2 inchs longer.Appreciate any help Thanks Nick

Thats the correct Fram part number for your vehicle but that doesnt mean Delco and Fram have to build the filter the same way. Do you have the Delco number to cross reference it to see if it comes up with the same Fram number?

Here's the link and the PF63 crosses to the PH10575 which is the same type as the XG10575 but a cheaper version.

Yes been using Pennzoil synthetic with AC Delco P63 Filter both approved by owners manual.Can you recommend anything that wont affect the warranty on the car,and will your company stand behind its product if GM refuses to fix the engine because of the use of your oil an filter.Thank You Nick
