New here , looking at 1999 with 130K on it

A buddy has one for sale , slightly bigger rims and tires . Wonder what to ask or test drive check before throwing out an offer . I think its all southern California
life / miles . 1999 1500 RWD 5.7 .

1. Check all fluids, engine oil, transmission if auto, coolant. Anything low or burnt.
2. Look underneath, any leaks.
3. Check the oil filler cap for any signs of a brownish creamy substance indicating antifreeze has mixed with oil from a blown head gasket or cracked head, etc.
4. Any usual noises.
5. Functioning of all equipment, brakes, AC, radio, wipers, etc.
6. How does it ride, bouncy, pulls to one side, too much play in steering, etc.

Thanks . Any year specific checks . Ive run it and the Air-con seems dead . May invest in a refrigerant charge to see how fast it leaks . All over seems clean for the age / miles .
