Hey guys, I'm Kevin, 26, from Westminster, MD, and I just inherited a Nova, I dont know year as of now, all I know is its late 60's early 70's.
Its going to be a complete body off restore, I've never done a body off restore before, and I know what I'm getting into financially.
I'm trying to get some detailed information on what all I have to do to get the body off the frame, I know the simple stuff, steering column, shifter link, speedo and such, but was wondering if theres anything hidden I wont see at first glance.
Also how everyone has lifted them off the frame ( hook points )
I'm going to be using a chain wench hooked on my garages I beam.
Also anything that could be helpful to know along the way.
I'm planning on putting an LS1 and T56 in as well if theres any advice on that also.
Lol I'm just full of questions aint I?
Thanks in advance tho.
Here's a few pics of how she sits right now until I get my trailer there to move it.
Its sunken in the mud, front end of the frame / body looks good so lets hope the rear is as well!
