Need help with Problem with Chevy HHR that Chevy dealer is giving me problem with.?

Creaking noise around steering column starting around 600 miles. Checked in different HHR forums and found that other HHR owners has the exact problem. The local CHevy dealer is being difficult about fixing it. Need to complain to someone higher.
