I have a 2001 chevy impala, 145k miles and i think the ignition switch sensor is going bad. It starts whenever it wants. It usually takes it anywhere from 10 min. to a hour(s) to start. When i turn the ignition switch it makes a funny noise. Its really getting annoying the fact that you never know if your going to be late to work today. I was basically wondering has anybody had this problem before and how much was the repairs and how long did it last.
