Need help to find my old Nova

Hi all!

I'm new to the Nova forum. I sold my 1969 Nova 350 SS 25 years ago in Texas. I called the DMV and found out its registered until 2018, so I guess somebody owns it and its not in a salvage yard. Thank goodness! However, there is federal privacy laws that prevent them to tell me the location of the car. Does anyone have any ideas how to track down my old Nova? I would like to buy it back if possible.

This is a common problem with older cars that people wish they either held onto or belonged to a parent or other relative. You are already a step ahead of many people that the DMV told you it was still registered. You can try circulating a picture of it to car clubs or if you have a connection with a local police department may get further help there.
