Need a new tire on 1999 chevy malibu... will this fit?

I have a 1999 chevy malibu and need a new passenger rear tire.. my driver back tire just blew (which i fixed on own) and they said i'll need a new one on the back passenger as well. From what i think is correct, the size of tire on my malibu is 215/60/15.
My friend from work has a tire laying around from a 2006 Ford fusion. I believe that size is 205/60/16.
Will the fusion tire fit on my malibu?

No. It's a different wheel size.

Look on the drivers door there should be a sticker saying exactly what size tire you should be using for your car. As the 1st guy said, the tire is a different size. Your Malibu needs a 15 inch tire, the Fusion tire is 16 inches.
