I have a 2000 Camaro SS that has problems with most pumps at gas stations. I only fill up when the tank is pretty empty, and when i start the pump, itll fill up a couple gallons then shut off, even though the tank isn't full. (I use premium 91). I have to switch pumps and do this again, and again, to get it to fill up all the way. Any ideas? I heard that many GM cars have had this issue but haven't heard of any way to fix it. Also, someone said there might be an air leak when the gas nozzle is in the tank because of the steep angle of the gas tank. Thanks!

your gas tank vent is clogged causing your filler neck to fill up and drain slowly, fill the tank slowly and u will need to wait for the filler neck to drain into the tank, by moving to other pumps u were giving it time to drain
