...Northestern states.? We will be leaving around the 5th or 6th of Sept. Wouldl like to hug the coastline so would be grateful for routes and suggestions of places to go and visit. Instead of making reservations, we were just going to go with the flow. Thought we would drive straight to Maine and drive south from there. Any suggestions would be grateful. I love watching Ghosthunters so if there is any suggestions to stop somewhere, that would be appreciated also.

Ocean City Maryland Boardwalk is great to see and experience

Wow - sounds like great fun! Maybe stop and see Harvard - very historic and Cambridge is cool. Cape Cod is awesom

ooh - ooh - go to Boston, then take the ferry to P-town (Provincetown) it is very unique - you can walk the Dunes there - so romantic. 3 hour ferry ride - very nice - check to see how LATE it runs tho. You leave Boston at 9am get there at noon and can return at 3 - or stay over if you find a B&B. So quaint and historic. But - it is like - mostly gay, just so you know.

There are wonderful places on that drive S. from Maine that jut out into the ocean some - some hotels and little towns - peaceful. I don't know about Ghosts, sorry. But the ocean is so alluring there. Dark and broody.

If i think of more that is not mentioned for you, i will add. Thanks. Have fun! I wish i was going along. hehehe.

Myrtle Beach has nice sands. Do you golf? Probably not. There is a biker rally there but i think you will miss that.
