At around 50000 miles, my temperature gage quite working. It usually shows my car is overheating, but it's not. At around 70,000 miles, the tachometer went haywire. It will show the rpm at 6000 when we're sitting still. Today, I suspected my speedometer wasn't quite right. I pulled into a parking space and stopped. The speedometer showed I was going 20 mph. (My car has about 84,000 miles on it now).
What is going on? Has anybody heard of this? How expensive is it to fix? Help!

Sounds like you have a computer issue, call the local dealer and see if there is a TSB (technical service bulletin) for it.

I'm not sure what style guage cluster you have. The digital guage cluster is a option on most vehicles. If this is a digital guage cluster then the cluster most likely needs to be replaced. These are garbage and always have been nothing but problems. If you have the standard guages then i would check with your dealer about any recalls or bulletins that may be posted on this problem. If not then the dealer will need to diagnose the problem as chances are its in the cars ECM (computer).
