try back flushing the cooling system, could be alot of sediment in there
 
bad head gaskets. you need to do a head gasket test to see if you need to replace them.
 
could be a few different things or a combination there of, could be air trapped in the system, fan relay is bad, fan fuse(s) are bad, thermostat in backwards. if the fans dont work, i would check the the fan relay and fuses first.
 
If both your fans are not working it will keep on overheating. This could damage your engine like warp the heads and blow the head gasket etc.
Try this: turn the air conditioner on max air. If the fans now come on this means your fan relay is bad. When you turn the A/C on this bypasses the regular fan relay. The relay will be out of sight probably like under a piece of plastic near the radiator.
