My "2000" Chevy Impala's Power Windows & Power Mirrors Don't work any more. How do i

fix them? Of course without taking my car to the dealership. Also I Can't nor do I want to Pay a lot of Money because during these Stressful economic time, Money is what I really do not have. So I rather do it myself.
My Fiance checked the fuses with a (I think) fuse tester & he said that the fuses are still good. So now we don't know what else to check or where else to look. All Answers & Suggestions are Greatly Appreciated. Thank You to All who take the time to comment/reply!

check to see if the fuse blew- if not i dont know how good you are with electrical work, but youll probably have to do soemthign with wires.

Along time ago my power windows stopped working and I had to replace the motor that works the windows and at that time it was over $200.

Obviously check the fuses first. First find a good trustworthy neighborhood mechanic and have them decipher the actual issue. Usually they won't charge you to figure out the problem. You may have to go to the dealership should need some diagnostic testing on your cars computer, but you can take those results back to the cheaper mechanic and have him fix the car. The widow motors simply could have blown already (which can be replaced) or you could be having some electrical issues. Check out your warranty in detail to determine if anything is covered still and if parts (motors) are needed ask them to try to find used ones first.

Its a fuse. The power windows and mirrors are on the same fuse. If you do not Feel comfortable changing them take it to an auto parts store. Most of the employees will come out and help you replace a fuse.
