My 1998 Chevy Malibu has recently started making these humming noises when driving.?

I don't hear the humming sound when the car is idling. It doesn't take any time for the sound to start either. The moment I pull out of my driveway and speed up I can hear it. It has been going on for about 3 weeks now and I'm concerned since I drive a total of 40+ miles to/from work each day. Help!

Ok go get your tires balanced and rotated but while they have it jacked up have them check to see if you have play in your wheel bearings. If no major signs of wheel bearing problems meaning if they shake the tire back and forth while its still mounted on the car and there is no play. pay the 20-30 bucks for rotate and balance and go drive, if its still humming then have a pro look at it, it could be a transmission noise or front half shafts but go the cheap route first.
