Was rear ended December 30th as I was turning left and the bumper withstood and no doubt saved my 2 young children in the back seat. All 3 of us were wearing seat belts and walked away with bumps after being hit and spun at a good clip by someone who admitted that the cell phone rang and he reached for it then there I was and as he braked, he had no other option but to hit us. As the trunk is jammed, the car is drivable and there was no penetration into the back of the car and all 4 doors open as they did before the hit. There was more than a foot of an indent in the front grill of the "Big Boy" truck that hit us but no one in either vehicle was injured (he was driving a GMC). I am So thankful for the collapse able bumper and truly feel that we all walked away from this accident because of Chevy and the durability of their vehicle! Forever grateful that we endured that nightmare in my Chevy Cobalt! Happy New Year
