If you have been following you know i finally got my suburban running. I went out today to start it to go get my smog test and there is a puddle of green fluid under the engine.
I looked under the hood and the slow leak appears to be comming from the lower radiator hose. This would make sense since its been sitting for years and the hose is probably rotting. I fugire that I will change the upper and lower hose along with clamps while I am at it. Someone was trying to tell me that I needed a special anti-freez. I have green anti freeze that was always used in this suburban and plan on using that again.
After this I need to get a smog check. This vehicle has been in an area that did not need smog checks and has not been checked in 15 years. I am adding addative to the fuel and the plugs and wires were just changed. I hope we PASS!!!!!!
