is thier difference between a 1997 chevy malibu and a 2001 malibu?

3.1 3100 v6 in both they are the same motor. we wannah put the 1997 into the 2001 and we dont know if thier exeactally the same. it would help if anyone know if thier was a site that had a diagram.thanks
