Is there a fuse or breaker that protects the circuit of the Chevy Malibu driver

There is a fuse, but most likely this isn't it. I own a 2000 Malibu. The drivers power window quit. 10 below zero when it quit, the window would only go down.
It was the window controller, contained in the series of buttons on the drivers door. Cost about $100 for the new part which I replaced myself.
