is the corvette any good or is the viper better?

depending on what you want to do with it. Overall, the Corvette is by far the better one for the money. its more fuel efficient, safer, looks better and the resale is better. take for example, the Viper has a lot of power but after driving it around for a while you better keep the door shut and crawl out the window. that is unless you like burns. the exhaust runs UNDER the door....*dont ask me why they did that. it was stupid* it runs 0-60 in about 3.9 - 4.1 seconds. does the 1/4 mile in about 12 seconds and its top speed in roughly 200 mph. * thats fast in ANY car* its not that good in turns and the longer the race goes on the further the viper gets left behind. the competition *or so they say* is the Corvette ZR1 that produces 638 hp and over 600 ft-lb torque. does0-60in 3 sec flat, does the 1/4 mile in 10.78 seconds and has a top speed of 205 electronically limited. remove the limiter and it gears out at 225 mph. the ZR1 turned in a 7 min 42 second time on the nuremberg ring. *THATS FAST!* it handles corners WELL and is about the same price as a viper. As a daily driver i would take the ZR1 ANY day. Also as a track car. the viper i would use for those mess around and burn the tires to the rims weekends. both are great cars with great style and lots of power and speed. LETS GO BIG 3!
 
Viper looks better, but the vette's got it beat everywhere else. Its more common though
 
Most all road tests by car mags always rate the Corvette superior to the Viper in every category. Nuff said.
 
First of define better, better in what horsepower, price, mpg,. But im gonna do what i can the 09 chevy corvette ZR1 is a beast 650 horses and 116 g's so its pretty sweet and the 09 dodge viper SRT has 600 horses and costs 91 g's so in my eyes the CORVETTE is better
 
First of all i dont know why you are asking about two american made cars. There is no point in talking about american made cars. If you want to talk about real cars you should try researching european and foreign cars cause those are the ones that are made the way a care is supposed to be made. To answer your question i would say the viper is better. The dodge vipper has a 8.4-liter aluminum V-10 engine that produces a full 600 horsepower and 560 lb.-ft. of torque. 0-60 times are under four seconds, 0-100-0 in under 12 seconds, and braking 60-0 comes in less than 100 feet. The Corvette has a LS3 6.2L V-8 engine and 430 HP with 424 lb.-ft. torque, 0-60 is 4.3 0-100 is also under 12 i would have to say the vipper is the best of the two.
 
depends on the model ... you get that z06 ... damn ... other than that corvettes are real common ... get the viper ... corvettes barely turn head but a viper ... idk man if it were me ,.. viper all the way
 
corvette zr1 is new in 09. it is one of the fastest cars in production. 638 hp and very good track handling
 
Both are better as far as you are concerned. LOL
