Is the 2002 Chevy avalanche V8 5.3L flex fuel compatible?

How would I know if my truck is a flex fuel vehicle? If not is it worth it to convert it into one that is?

It looks like the 2005 models were the first to go with flex fuel capable. Is it worth it to convert? No. When you have worn the avalanche out then look for something that is flex fuel capable.
