Is a 1996 Chevy Silverado a good first car?

HI, Im 16 and I'm looking to buy a truck. I have a grass cutting business. Is a chevy silverado 4x4 z71 for $5000 a good truck for me?

NO. I had a 96 Blazer and it was a real problem. HAd to get a new ac compressor and the sensors in the engine were bad. This car cost me a lot of $$ in maintenance. I did get ride of it.
Since then Toyota, Nissan adn Hyundi and I sleep at night and do not pay the dealers for poorly made products.

That was the first car I ever owned and I loved it. 4x4s are more expensive to maintain so I wouldn't get that unless you actually need it.

The best truck is a Toyota Tacoma.
