(should i get it yes or no)? And anything else i should know about them before i buy it

350
custom rims
new low profile tires
aftermarket taillights

Drive it and listen for any noise coming from the rear end. May indicate wear on universals. Let it idle and see if it overheats at all. Corvette is a good car but needs servicing just like all cars. Just a little pricey on the repairs. Stay away from it of it overheats. How low are the profile on the tires? Too low gives you not much sidewall. They may look good but really hurt the performance.

it really depends what Corvette you want to buy..but generally the old cars (pre 1990's), if they have high miles such as the one you're looking at, they always have problems. I guess the smartest thing to do because its a limited edition is to buy the car and to refurbish the motor. This will guarantee no motor related problems.

Have the brakes/rotors checked along with all the unniversals (you have 6 of them) you didn't mention the trans mission type....if it has the 4+3 like my 1986 I would think twice....the reverse goes out (like mine) and it is very expensive to fix....but I truly love mine as it drives awesome and I like to put the top down...Corvettes rock dude...they rock

I would try and get it for $5,900...especially in this economy
