ok so within the past few months i have gotten my 2000 chevy malibu(56,000 miles) fixed about 4 times- water pump replaced, thermostat replaced, automatic fans relayed and breaks fixed. well it first was on the verge of overheating a few months back and we immediatley took it to the shop. this is when the things were replaced. well three days ago i was driving it and the temperature gage started rising again, now remind you it was fine after all the replacing besides on this day, and it also sounded somewhat like a diesel truck does as i was pulling over and when i parked it was leaking water everywhere and lightly steaming. it did not reach the red lines where obviously you no the car is overheated with engine problems etc.. we once again took it back to the shop and the mechanic ran the car on idle for three hours straight(which puts more pressure than actually driving it on the car) the temperature on the gage did not move one bit it stayed right on the middle mark and there were no leaks anywhere not even the gaskets(weve sealed everything as well). and it wasnt the fans sticking bacause he had the air off as it was ideling. well i went and picked it up and as soon as i was five minutes away it began to run hot and fluids(possibly water) were pouring out of the bottom. i let it cool down and put more water in the water bottle(also where u can keep a coolant) and restated it within 30 minutes i drove about three more minutes and it began getting hot so i pulled it over turned it off and began with the same procedure. I then drove it to the machanics trying to at least get it there without a tow truck and it was not overheating just jumping a little bit on the temp gage. once i got there (and the air was on) the car was fine like it didnt have any problems. i drove it around for about 45 minutes and kept checking for leaks and there was none at all. please help im so sick of dealing with this!
