As most of you probably know, there isn't much room in the cargo area of a corvette as it is but i have a sub I want to put in it so I want to get a 5 channel amp opposed to multiple amps to save room.
Ive replaced and rewired all of the speakers and head unit and the speakers rms ratings are 45-50 watts each at 4 ohms. I have a pioneer premier dual voice coil sub that i want to add with a 400 nom. at 4 ohms. Ive been shopping for amps online and the best amp ive been able to find at a reasonable price of $240 has an rms of 75 x 4 at 4 ohms + 250 x 1 at 4 ohms. So the 4 speakers will have plenty of power but I will be under powering the sub by a significant amount which ive heard could cause problems. I guess my question is, will it be ok under powering my sub? or do i need to keep looking? Thanks a lot.

You can under power it but at the same time the sub is in a small air space so start your gain at half turned up and adjust as needed never turn the amp all the way up because you will eventually blow it ..alpine and re audio makes some good 5 channel Amos that are compact and will fit in the small cargo area

what year is the corvette?
