I just bought a new Chevy HHR so will GM now go under and I will have no warranty?

GM isn't going under. Even if they did someone would still be responsible for your warranty.
 
Gm will not go under they may file for bankruptcy protection. If they file for bankruptcy we will still be open to service your warranty. Enjoy your HHR and thanks for buying an American made car.
