Silverado 4.3L? The truck sat for a year but then cranked right up and ran fine for 2 days. It then suddenly started misfiring and running terribly. It continued to run bad but would clear up sometimes. It is now barely running and nothing seems to fix it. So far I have replaced fuel filter, plugs, wires, coil, distributor, rotor button, cap, and crankshaft position sensor. I tested the fuel pressure and it checks out (61 psi during priming and 56 when running) I am not getting any other codes other than the P0300. Would replacing the PCM be the next logical step or should I just give up and take it to the shop?
