seconds and shuts off any suggestion? after sitting for a little while it starts with no problems and it doesn't do it all the time. Sometimes it isn't even a cold start i havent really found anything that really triggers it. it just happens everyonce in awhile
 
If your truck is "drive by wire" - then you may have a problem with the throttle body itself... Have the pcm checked for codes, even if the check eng light isn't on

If your truck has a regular throttle cable, it could be a problem with the IdleAirControl valve, or a dirty throttle body.

You can try cleaning the MassAirFlow sensor in either case... They make special cleaner for this
