My truck runs a little hot and someone told me I need to put more water in it...where do i pour that in at?

There is a overflow bottle under the hood. Eather the left or right side.
in the front. Never add water add 50-50 antifreez. If it's yellow, change it and flush it and add the green 50-50 antifreez.
They say the yellow will last 50,000 miles. It will not.
Go to the green and change it every other year and help your engine last longer.
After you add it, if it still runs hot change the thurmastate.
If it still hot flush the radiator.

Remove the radiator cap and make sure the radiator itself is full. Do it with the engine cool, and start the truck to bleed out any air pockets as you are filling it. Then check the over flow tank (follow the small hose under the radiator cap back to it). It has a cool level mark and a hot level mark, fill it based obviously on what temperature the engine it at when you fill it. If the truck is full of 50/50 anti-freeze/water mix, you may have a bad thermostat, water pump, or radiator cap.

the radiator!!!!! you need to mix anti-freeze/coolant and water. 50-50

well if your somewhere that gets cold this time of year i wouldn't recommend water, use 50/50 antifreeze coolant

but if its been sitting long enough to not be "hot" then pour it straight in the radiator, but if its still "hot" where you wouldn't be able to take the radiator cap off then pour it in the radiator overflow tank, if you don't know where it is then its a tank with a small ribber hose that goes to the radiator right under the radiator cap
