engine will kick only when hot? It gets to operation temp. of 190 to 210 degrees and when you need to accelerate anymore than moderately, there will be a strange sound from what i can make out as the driver side of the truck and a small loss of power and then three seconds later the check engine light will kick and it will run fine from there. This has recently also occurred in my sisters 1991 z71 and the check engine codes are reading an ignition failure. Does anyone have any clue what it is?
