start..Why is that? My car starts perfect in the morning after not being driven for the night, and if you leave it sit for a few hours after driving it will start perfect...But when the engine is still warm it, takes a few seconds to start. What could it be? I have replaced the starter and battery, and got new spark plugs.

I would replace the fuel filter, and I don't know many 80's cars that even have computers. I don't understand why people answer questions they know nothing about. If it's in good shape then it's a pretty sweet car so ignore the morons.

when the engine is cold the computer may be adjusting the fuel trim to a richer condition, but when warm it is a bit leaner, so maybe the throttle body needs to be cleaned and a can of fuel system cleaner run through the a tank of gas.

well... see may be just maybe because its OLD!.. mommy gave a new car last year and i dont even need a key for it... just a button and woo... its on!
