How much will it cost to replace the A/C in my 78' corvette?

I'm purchasing the 1978 Anniversary Corvette at a pretty sweet price, but the only down side is that the A/C is out and has been for 10 years.
Could anyone give me some idea at what kind of money im looking at to fix/ replace the A/C?

Any advice is much appreciated.
