I have a clean driving record; I have never been in an accident, no tickets, no nothing. I'm not saying its true but I heard from a friend that it cost about $300 a month for car insurance for the vette?

It might be expensive since it's a sports car, and a lot of people want it. your insurace might be afraid that it might get stolen, or something will happen to it, and they don't want to be held responsible to what ever might happen. I would say it might be pretty high. If this is your only car, it might be about the same as having 2 cars. IF this is going to be like your 2nd or 3rd car, it might be a little more expensive

It depends on where you live. If you want liability or full-coverage, which I recommend as I own a Corvette. You did not tell us where you live or how you plan on driving the Corvette. For example, insurance companies will ask you if it'll be used to get to work, how many drivers are in your household, will the car be on the street or in a garage. Will the car be used only on the weekend. How many miles are on the odometer. How many miles do you plan on driving per year. What anti-theft device(s) are on your Corvette. Will it be driven in the Snow(if you live in the Snow Belt). Please make sure you have your stats written down when you speak to an insurance broker. Get quotes and shop around. Please get the insurance quote in writing via e-mail and save it, print it.
