I took my car for service to the dealership. I have no Warranty on the vehicle anymore, but they told me that the transmission needs to be replaced. How much would this run me?
It started with the car stalling when accelerating at 50-60 miles on the freeway. It would turn off at turns & power down as if it was going to turn off when I was iddle........Last I had the dealership man test drive it during which it started stalling a lot more. He said he drove it the next morning & would start off fine, but after about five blocks would start stallling again. So now I need the transmission replaced being as I know nothing about cars would someone help with a price quote.
