...speeding ticket going 110? but i know i was only going 85-90mph. It was 1:00 in the morning on a Tuesday night on my way home from work. I need to prove in court that my truck doesn't even go that fast. I think it has a govner that turns it off at 97mph. Does anyone know anything? Any advice will be appreciated. 110 is a felony or manslaughter. I dont want to get my license taken away for something I didn't do. I know i was speeing but I've never gone a 100mph in my whole life. How do I get proof for court?

Well i have a 1990 GMC Sierra and i can easily go up to 110, granted that the Sierra is just like the Silverado itd be hard to say it cant... But your best bet would be to show up to court, just doing this you have a chance of the cop not showing up (where you wont get any penalty). Or you can at least say that your speedometer might have been off for some reason, and you will get the fines reduced
