how do replace a fuel pump thruoght the trunk for a 1991 camaro?

got the car of this guy that said it was to much trouble to fix it so he sold it for 100 bucks
 
You can't replace it through the trunk. You must remove the fuel tank from under the vehicle.
 
I suspect that without an access cover (God forbid the engineers would do anything like that) it would be more work and certainly more time consuming than simply dropping the fuel tank.
The only vehicle that I have worked on that did it right in my opinion is the lowly Ford Escort - the fuel pump and sender can be removed in just a few minutes by simply removing the back seat cushion and a small access cover. The engineer that devised that was probably fired.
 
Go to a public library and read up on it in the1991 Motor's Manual or Chilton's Manual.
