How do i reset the change engine oil light in a 2005 Chevy impala?

How do i reset the change engine oil light on a 2005 Chevy Impala. It has a after market stereo, with a after market scoshe chime module. so i don't have the OEM stereo for it. and i think that the pressing the gas pedal down 3-5 times doesn't work for the newer models. And i do not have the manual that comes with the car, i bought it used.Any help would be greatly appreciated, THX

you turn the ignition on and turn the radio off. Push down the tune nob until settings is displayed on the radio. Push the seek button until you see oil life. Push the next button on the radio until you see the word reset then push the tune nob again. this will reset the oil timer on the car and change oil light should turn off.

i have a 2006 chevy trailblazer and its kinda similar except you dont involve the radio tune knob.
