How do I replace a water pump on a 98 chevy malibu 3.1 V6? I need all the help...

...possible, THX? My car is leaking coolant and overheating I am sure it needs a new water pump.

take serrp belt off drain coolantremove pulley at pump remove pump and scrap gasket u might have motor mount above water pump you will need to use hydr. jack under oil pan to support motor use a 2 x4 so you dont put a dent in oil pan raise motor a little remove motor mount
