How do I make my Chevy Cobalt faster?

I have a 2009 Chevy Cobalt LT. It's the 4 door. She can be fast but her acceleration is horrible. Last time we checked it it was 0-60 in 14s. Also I think there is a chip in it that wont let me rev the engine. I want to know what all I can do to this car to make it into the speed demon I know it can be. Thanks.

Best way to make a Cobalt faster is to trade it in.

Speed demon is the tubocharged SS version. You probably have the base 4 cylinder and it will be a lot cheaper to sell yours and buy an SS than to try to get more power out of yours.
