its a 1990, dont know if its carburated or fuel injected-it has a round air filter and two little pots that spray fuel into the throttle body.. onto the problem when its started up it idles high sort of bogs at a certain rpm and then sputters down and then idles high again and repeats itself. it cranks fine has a little bit of a harder time trying to start now that its colder outside or havent been started in a while
but when it warmed up before and was running at higher speeds the idling wasnt an issue only when it comes down to a stop. any suggestions or maybe this is a common problem? its my first silverado and i bought the truck as is
