How do i disable theftlock on Chevy Malibu if i dont know the unlock code?

I want to disable the theftlock on my car because it is very faulty and goes off about every other time i start the car. I do NOT want to tear the dash apart and play with wires. It can be disabled through the radio if the lock code is known. I am the third owner and nobody has a clue what it is. I have tried searching the entire internet and all i can find is how to unlock the RADIO if it has became locked. I also read that even if you do not know the user created code, there is a backup factory code. How would i go about finding that?
