how do i bleed or burp my radiator coolant from chevy suburban?

if you are trying to get air out of radiator,wait till vehicle is cold...start and remove cap...then top off with coolant ,have someone give it a litte gas and this will draw the coolant down into the radiator....then give it a litte more....if you want to drain radiator...there is a petcock located at the bottom of radiator....this help???
Air will escape the radiator when you loosen or remove the radiator cap but air will not escape most heater cores without bleeding.
If your heater is not as hot as it should be at low engine speeds then you may have an air block in the heater core and you will need to bleed the core. Bleeding an air block out of the heater core to restore flow (to burp as you say) is a simple process and only takes about 10 minutes.
1. Start the motor and turn the heater on and then let the motor warm to operating temperature.
2. While the engine is warming feel the temperature of the two heater hoses under the hood where they enter the heater core near the firewall.
3. Note which hose is hottest to the touch and which hose is just warm to the touch.
4. Forget the hottest hose (that will be the heater inlet hose). The hose which is COOLER than the hottest hose is the one you will bleed (that will be the heater outlet hose) and it will be noticeably cooler than the inlet hose if there is an air block in the heater core.
5. Shut the motor off and let the engine cool.
6. Loosen the hose clamp on the heater outlet hose and wiggle the hose until it is loose. BUT DO NOT REMOVE THE HOSE.
7. Start the motor and watch the loose heater outlet hose until it leaks. You may need to wiggle it some to encourage a leak but be careful not to get your hand scalded and be careful not to let the hose pop off.
8. Allow about a quart of coolant to leak from that hose and then tighten the hose clamp to stop the leak.
9. Top off your radiator with a 50/50 anti-freeze and water mixture.
That is all there is to it. The air block will escape at the leaking outlet hose.
