i have an 88 camaro,5.7l 350.
when i hit the gas,all i do is spin.
how can i realy shift the weight in this thing from the front to the back

I have 5 camaro's and the front to rear weight ratio is about the same as a pickup truck. I put two 40lb. sand bags in the trunk/hatch, one on both sides, without changining the gear ratio in the punkin' , this was the answer for me. I also lived in Wisconsin for many years and it helped to keep the rear end from wanting to see what the front end was doing. (spinning out) in the snow and ice. these cars were deffinantly not meant for that climate.. this was a problem for me as well even in my '78 that has a straight 6cyl 250 Cu in engine.Dude has a good point though, you have to learn to control it.

You can try wider tires, lower tire pressures, shock setup in the rear to help the car squat, and also other little tricks like transfering the battery to the back.

Just go light on the throttle in the beginning until the car is going don't slam into the accelerator. It is a rear wheel drive so you could also throw some heavy objects in the trunk but note this will cause the car to be slower and harder to control in turns but if you add enough weight it will stop spinning out. You could also swap out the differentiable with the older Camaro rear end one that was made with a 350. Or just get high grip racing tires.
