help with remote key pad stop working

So i changed the battery on my 2010 traverse keypad and it does not work anymore. Is their a way to reprogram the key pad?

If it is the original key fob it does not need to be programmed. Only new key fobs have to be programmed. Why did you change the battery? Did it work before you changed the battery?

Make sure you have the battery installed correctly. The larger portion of the battery should be on top.

I changed the battery b/c i was not getting a good range on the remote. I had the original battery from 06/2010.

The larger face of the battery is facing up.

check the new battery with a voltmeter or reinstall the old battery

It is possible that you replaced the old battery with a "new" defective one. Get another new battery and try it, and also try what zora mentioned.
